Why is Bernie Sanders going to lead Zohran Mamdani's public swearing-in ceremony?

S.12 E.37 Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani will soon be sworn in as the new Mayor of New York City. Reportedly, U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont is going to lead Mamdani's public swearing-in ceremony. But why would Bernie Sanders lead the swearing-in when he is not from New York. What is the significant of this move? In this episode, I share my thoughts on this issue.
